This program is being distributed under the "IntegrityWARE"
concept, meaning that if you like this utility and have any
integrity what-so-ever, you will send me at least $1.00. It
also means that if you do NOT like the utility, you will at
least write and tell me why.
One Hundred Percent (100%) of the proceeds derived from the
distribution of this software is being used to help feed
homeless adults and children in my community. Meals are
provided to anyone, regardless of race or religion, no
questions are asked. Please feel free to send more than the
suggested $1.00.
Note: Version 1.00 was downloaded by over 7000 persons on
every major BBS and service across America and Canada. Of
those, only 3 people have sent donations ($4.00). What is
wrong with this picture?

HDPARK is a simple "Head Parking" utility for all hard disk
based personal computers. You should use this utility to
protect the hard disk when you are not using your computer or
when you need to move it. HDPARK locks the read/write head
of the hard disk at the inner most track. This is typically
the safest location.
It is a generally good idea to use this command each time you
get ready to turn off your computer at the end of a day, or
if you will leave your computer unattended for any duration.
Remember, your hard disk is a very fragile (and expensive)
piece of equipment, and one good bump in the wrong direction
can be disastrous. We Californian's know that a moderate
earthquake should be considered a moderate bump. HDPARK will
do it's best to protect your computer.
To help you remember to use HDPARK, to it has been added a
unique feature. The easily entertained will be easily
entertained by it's colorful bouncing 'diskettes'. As the
'diskette' travels about the screen, it changes into each and
every color possible (and a few that aren't) on a PC. Please
note that it is fully compatible with Monochrome, CGA, EGA,
and VGA video cards.
At the DOS command line, enter:
HDPARK [1, 2, 3, or 4]
Once invoked, you may return back to the DOS prompt at the
single press of any key.
